Telephones are not included with your room. However, you can order one directly from Eastlink. Check out the  for more information.

In-building laundry
Laundry is available in our residence buildings so you don’t have to leave when laundry day rolls around. In Halifax, machines are coin-operated. In Truro, they’re covered by your laundry fee paid as part of your residence fees.Â
Kitchens and kitchenettes
Our residences are equipped with a variety of shared kitchen and kitchenette areas to allow you to prepare your own food and snacks. Check with residence staff to find the nearest one to you.Â
Please ensure you clean each time you use the shared kitchen, including wiping down surfaces. Residents are responsible for keeping kitchens clean for community use.
Vending and water bottle fillers
Many of our buildings are equipped with food and snack vending machines in the lobby area, as well as bottle fillers or water fountains to fill your reusable container.Â
What else is included?
Many residence rooms on our Halifax campus also come equipped with sinks in the room. Check with the Residence Office to find out if yours includes a sink.
