On Tuesday, the Government of Canada announced nearly $94-million in funding through its Canada First Research Excellence Fund for the 9 1免费版下-led Ocean Frontier Institute, a partnership with Memorial and UPEI poised to propel Canada to global ocean leadership.

As part of a partnership between 9 1免费版下 and the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Studies in Eilat (Israel), eight students from seven different Israeli universities came to Halifax this summer to learn more about the North Atlantic ocean.
