Inspired by his father’s side gig flipping houses, Josh Hatfield imagined a future in business. With donor support through the BComm Class of 1997 Scholarship, the Faculty of Management student is achieving his goal.

Chemical engineering student Sapna Natarajan found purpose through her involvement in campus societies. These donor-supported groups fostered community, leadership skills, and career opportunities, defining her university experience.

9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ lost a close friend and community member on May 13, 2024, with the passing of Arthur Irving, 93. His legacy will live on at 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂ, especially through the Irving Oil Auditorium, and through his support of Dal Engineering students.

Robert Richardson (BComm’84) believes education is the great equalizer. He says it helped him overcome barriers and opened up a wealth of opportunities. Richardson is helping to clear a path for promising students who face similar challenges in achieving their dreams.

Dr. Dale Dauphinee (BSc'59, MD'64) has been giving to 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ for 40 consecutive years in support of improving medical education — his lifelong interest — alongside medical research.
