Information Session: Schulich Law Ambassadors

The Admissions Office at the Schulich School of Law is recruiting new law ambassadors and invites interested students to attend an information session to learn more about the program and how to get involved as opportunities expand this year.

Becoming a law ambassador is a wonderful way to support other students who are just beginning their journey into their legal education, as well as take a meaningful role in the Schulich Law community.

Law ambassadors can give tours of the Weldon Law Building to prospective students, participate in recruitment events, help organize Weldon Welcome Days, and so much more.

CDO Workshop: Boosting Your LinkedIn Profile

The Career Development Office (CDO) at the Schulich School of Law invites law students to a workshop designed to help boost the amount of attention and engagment received by their LinkedIn profiles.

Whether brand new to LinkedIn or simply in need a refresher, staff from CDO will cover the basics of building a strong profile, growing a network, and using LinkedIn to get ready for future recruitment events.

Smith Shield Moot

The Smith Shield Moot is a not-for-credit exhibition that sees two teams of two student advocates argue a hypothetical appeal before a panel of lawyers, judges, and members of the Weldon community.

It is the premiere mooting event of the academic calendar with a tradition dating back to 1927 and being selected to participate is a significant accolade.
