9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ Agricultural Campus participated in the 2023 Truro Pride Parade on June 24th.
The parade float was a great success due to the wonderful support from the campus community. Special thanks to the campus Pride Committee members for supporting planning: Tyler Schmidt-Schaun, Ann Balser, Ashley MacDonald, Lauren Peters-Withrow, Jo Castillo, Ashley Coffin, Gillian Hatch, and Jeanne Rutledge.
Also helping make the event a success was Athletics who purchased pride shirts for all participants; Engineering for offering storage and decoration space for the float; Farm staff for providing the tractor, wagon and driver, Chance Roberts; the Faculty of Agriculture for covering the cost of registering for the parade, Student Success for organizing float decorations, and the Office of Equity & Inclusion for their financial support.
Thanks to all students and staff who came out to celebrate Pride by joining the float or joining the community to watch the parade.
Happy Pride!
