The Office of Industry Liaison and Innovation (ILI) is pleased to announce that Jolene MacEachern has accepted a position as Manager with a focus on Agriculture and Aquaculture. This position is effective immediately and Jolene will spend time on both Halifax and Truro locations.
The office of ILI manages and facilitates collaborations between companies and university researchers, commercializes research at 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ and assists in the creation of spin-off ventures.
Jolene will continue to have oversight of Cultiv8
Jolene and her family were recently selected as the Atlantic Region’s Outstanding Young Farmers for their achievements on the Holstein operation, Folly River Farms Ltd. Her first-hand knowledge of this sector will be very useful in her new role at 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂ.
