Today we kick off our United Way Campaign 2016.
We need your help to make this year’s campaign a huge success – our success will benefit so many in our own community.Ìý Over the next couple of weeks there will be a lot of events to take part in – I will keep posted.
Also, the best and easiest way to give to the United Way is through payroll deduction; if you would like a form, please contact Elaine Osmond, Kendra Mellish, or Marilyn Roberts.
The smallest of contributions can go a long way.
$2/payÌý (26 pays) or $5/pay (12 pays) = four weeks of healthy snacks for children attending local playgroups.
$10/pay (26 pays) or $22/pay (12 pays) = Allows an adult learner to gain literacy skills to improve their life
$38.47/pay (26 pays) or $84/pay (12 pays) = Provides 33 children with a basic supply kit to go back to school.
We have the opportunity to change lives of people in our own community.
Take a look at this great video.
I’m in for the United Way, are you?
